The most economical car in Australia The 'Hot Air" propelled car.

Drive up to any local or state politician for a free tankful during election week.
Those people with gas guzzlers requiring superheated hot air,  may access it from any visiting federal MP or  from those in Canberra. shortages are not expected in our lifetime.

Dear friend,

Our hearts are going out to the people of Japan, who are in the midst of a deepening nuclear crisis, in addition to the devastating consequences of an earthquake and tsunami.

The situation in Japan is constantly evolving and Greenpeace nuclear experts are closely monitoring the developments at the Fukushima nuclear reactors in order to provide independent assessment.

Keep the Faith
dont despair

Memories Of Another Day

Japan On Brink Of N-Catastrophe As 3rd Reactor Explodes In 3 Days,3 More On Boil

Keith Bradsher and Hiroko Tabuchi

Tokyo: A small crew of technicians braved radiation and fire through the day on Tuesday as they fought to prevent three nuclear reactors in northeastern Japan from melting down and stop storage ponds loaded with spent uranium fuel pods from bursting into flames
Jimmy said…
Tokyo Electric Power Company officials announced on Tuesday evening that they would consider using helicopters in an attempt to douse with cold water a boiling rooftop storage pond for spent uranium fuel rods.

The rods are still radioactive and potentially as hot and dangerous as the fuel rods inside the reactors if not kept submerged in water.

The only ideas we have right now are using a helicopter to spray water from above,or inject water from below, a power company official said.We believe action must be taken by tomorrow or the day after.

Prime Minister Naoto Kan warned in aTV address on Tuesday of rising radiation. There is a risk of high radiation near the plant and citizens in 30-km radius should stay indoors.

It is a shame,But,Had all this happened in November 1941. the world would be a different place and Japans wartime attrocities and the allies stopping the war in the pacific and saving a million lives or more, by using the A/Bombs, would never have happened, and myself a others like vest would have fewer medals to wear.

Hi Dylan, Heir to the family throne.
It would be better put by asking "How cheap will the car be".
Suggest basic car with conversion kit, Or you could carry your politician on the car roof rack.

Cars and taxis in watime Sydney carried large gasbags on their roof of the car, (True)I remember it well. love to your family.
Best of luck at Uni. Gramps.

Jimmy. I have heard the strange noise the driving force of India's
TATA NANO,-starts like pring pring ping then, running goes ting ting ting ting ting. The 1990 Russian LADA SAMARA was a heap of shit too-couldn't trade a new one in for a push bike.
Now we have the 'Great wall' junk cars coming in from Dim Sim land. most have not passed the basic safety test required in Strayer.
Labels 'Shite from China'.

The authorities had earlier warned that an explosion may happen at Daini Unit #1 but it seems that by Monday the normal cooling systems were reinstated for all Daini reactors.

These explosions are not enough to breach the concrete and stainless steel shell of the inner core but the detection of caesium-137 and iodine-131 indicates that at least part of the fuel rods have been exposed and damaged. (Water levels inside the core are unknown because the gauges have failed, itself indicating damage.)

If left exposed for too long the fuel pellets melt and fall to the bottom of the core. If it continues, all the fuel melts into a pool at the bottom of the core, continues to overheat — and at some point with loss of neutron moderation in the molten pool it becomes self-accelerating — until nothing can contain it and it burns through the core, i.e. the China Syndrome.

Contact with other material or any liquid, along with accumulated hydrogen will result in explosive dispersal of the highly radioactive material — not as a nuclear bomb — but a far worse kind of dirty “bomb” in terms of radioactive contamination of hundreds or thousands of square kilometres depending on prevailing winds.

As time moves on the likelihood of this kind of catastrophic event becomes less and less likely because the energy released by the fuel diminishes quickly.

Some experts believe the danger point for such a total meltdown has been passed but Tuesday’s events make any outside assessment very problematic.

On Monday, the Japanese Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency said that as many as ......

A woman and a man are involved in a car accident on a snowy, cold Monday morning; it’s a bad one. Both of their cars are totally demolished, but amazingly neither of them is hurt. God works in mysterious ways. After they crawl out of their cars, the man is yelling about women drivers.
The woman says, ‘So, you’re a man. That’s interesting. I’m a woman. Wow, just look at our cars! There’s nothing left, but we’re unhurt. This must be a sign from God that we should be friends and live in peace for the rest of our days.’
Flattered, the man replies, ‘Oh yes, I agree completely, this must be a sign from God! But you’re still at fault…women shouldn’t be allowed to drive.’
The woman continues, ‘And look at this, here’s another miracle…. My car is completely demolished but this bottle of wine didn’t break. Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune.’ She hands the bottle to the man.
The man nods his head in agreement, opens it and drinks half the bottle and then hands it back to the woman.
The woman takes the bottle, puts the cap back on and hands it back to the man.
The man asks, ‘Aren’t you having any?’
The woman replies,
.’No. I think I’ll just wait for the police….’
Next time, think twice before messin with a Woman!
