"A year ago today my lovely mother in law was taken from us. She was beautiful, kind, funny and caring. A great wife, mother, grandma and friend. Although you are no longer with us physically, you will live forever in our hearts and memories xxx

Dear Uncle Les,
There are no words that can be written or spoken to take away your pain at the loss of your beautiful wife and our darling sister and auntie, but we would like you to know, you and the boys are very much in our thoughts today.
Much love to you all

Below is what my son Chris posted on Facebook.

Thank you to everyone that remembered that it had been a year since the passing of my mum today. I think about her every day, many times a day and it often brings tears to my eyes. Now I am not a particularly religious person but do like to think I will see her again. Below is the letter from heaven read at her funeral and even though she didn't write it, I'm sure it is along the lines of what she would have written if she could - so brings me some comfort.

Letter From Heaven

When tomorrow starts without me,
And I am not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;

I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
Each time that you think of me,
I know you will miss me too;

When tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right there, in your heart.

If by chance there is a heaven and Facebook in heaven, "Thank you for being my mum. I couldn't have asked for a better mum. I love you, miss you and forever will".
