Sixty years ago "And it don't seem a day too much." remember the song?

There must be people out there that would make our long time acquaintance pale into insignificance. However, Rosemary my wife and I have been known to each other sixty years and married 58.5 years with approx five years of separation in several segments during my naval career. During that time we have lived together in five different countries finally in Australia for the past forty years. We have Five sons,  one grandson, eight granddaughters, and two g grand daughters and one g great son.
"So What" you may say. Well er I thought I would love to tell you just that, Also I wouldn't swap my nearest and dearest for Quids.

"No trumpets sound when the important decisions in our life are made. Destiny is made known silently."

Uncertain times ahead, Back in a few days..... Vest.

Anon: apart from your quaint way of explaining few persons care, I have learned only a miniscule number of relatives even bother to communicate via this blog. I suppose there is an explanation and you may have hit the nail on the head, meaning those other than those who are aware that they do contribute on this blog.

Actually anon I 'm orf to the horsepiddle tumorra, for surgery, I am in a state of trepidation concerning my survival, however, it is doubtful that this info will reach sympathetic ears.

Thanks Chiefy and Wally for your caring thoughts

Dad great to see you and Mum last weekend, Dylan and Bianca had a fun time and also enjoyed the club and a dance with Grandma as I did too. Dylan and I had are first drink together.
Hope your opp goes well for you, I know its more than a bit of a stress full thing to go through, when I went under last time they asked me are you allergic to anything, I replied scotch and coke so they put that on my arm band, but the enithist said if there is any going he and the surgeon are going to have it first, LOL. I think we all know who the 8th granddaughter is. But some bro not to sure. Love you DAD and we all hope your opp goes well.
