Diaster Day. Sunday

Not a happy day today. Christopher my son who is my main carer has as a result of unusual Manual activities, in particular, the assembly of the Exercise Bike, done his back in so he describes the ongoing pain he is suffering.  Thereby making it necessary for me to venture forth to the local convenience store- 5 mins journey on my Mobility Scooter.  This was the first time in seven weeks out by myself and having purchased Milk and other necessities made the trip successfully apart from the problem of losing my Wallet someplace on the return trip. which needless to say is a *^@+$#f Nuisance there was over 100 dollars plus numerous cards Banking Health and about ten other cards in the mix. It is not so much the money being the problem but the cards will take an awful lot of explaining to replace them.
Having retraced my journey without result I can only assume someone has picked my wallet up and may or may not return it to me, I can only hope. My son is now in the process of reporting the loss to the bank - medicare and other institutions. BUGGER.

Definitely BUGGER. I do hope that an honest soul finds it - and before all your cards have been cancelled. I hope your son's back improves too.

Oh, that's no good.
Have you tried calling the shopping centre or the stores you were at?
Perhaps someone has handed it in to the police?

EC. There is more chance it would be recovered should there have been an absence of cash. the finder then would be up for reward of cash maybe. I have had most cards cancelled or reported lost.

Sue Bowyer. I have retraced my journey and returned to the place where I made my purchase. It must be obvious by now some nefarious character has it or it is in the process of being returned by some thoughtful person or organisation. Hope springs eternal. Again Bugger.

You have to cancel all the cards immediately, even though the wallet may turn up quickly. Modern life, eh.

Andrew. The list is extensive. Chris has dealt with the cancellation of these cards. VISA.OPAL.PHOTOCARD. AUS POST.MEDICARE, VA WHITE ORANGE & CONCESSION. LOTTO. NRMA. FLYBUYS. AMCAL. SENIORS. HEARING AUSTRALIA. these are the important ones. some have already been replaced by temporary paper copies.

Bugger indeed! That is a huge problem, all those cards. I usually take just the money I need when making the short trip to my supermarket, I know the cost of most things and most days only go to get the newspaper, no sense in carrying a wallet for that.
I hope you get it returned, maybe someone handed it in at the supermarket? Good luck and hope your son's back eases soon. I know how that feels.

Elsie. Chris My Son has done a good job over the past few hours chasing the problem with good effect. then again the wallet may turn up, it has my address all through it, but there are many opportunists out there waiting for these situations to happen.

"BUGGER" is being very polite! I'm saying something far more appropriate here...but then, there is no one else around to hear me other than my two furry mates...and they are used to hearing me utter the profanity!

Oh! Dear! What a bugger!! I hope your wallet is returned to you, Vest...and everything within it, intact. I really do feel for you...because I know how I would feel myself, if it happened to me. I'm so sorry...but I shall keep thinking positive thoughts for its return to you.

Take good care.....try...try not to stress (I know that easy for me to say)...Best thoughts and wishes. :)
That stinks, all the way around. Here's hoping a Good Samaritan finds your wallet and returns it. I carry my wallet in a fanny pack secured around my waist. It isn't exactly fashionable, but for me, it beats having to worry about the safety of my wallet and all of those necessary cards stuffed in there.

Take care. I hope your son's back feels better soon.

LEE. I don't use the Bugger word too often. or use other profane words in public, but on this occasion, Bugger fitted in nicely.

Susan Flett Swiderski. My next wallet will have a chain attached and secured to my body belt or other devices. BTW Never heard of a Fanny Pack, Sounds too FEM for my use.

JANE. I hope your hopes come to fruition. Love you Too XXXXX.
